Fingerprint based Patient Information System: Fingerprinting is the process of identification based on the impressions made by the fingers. The impressions consist of patterns formed by ridges that cover the skin of the fingertips. Fingerprints provide one of the most reliable methods of identification. No person’s fingerprint is identical to any other human being. In most cases, fingerprints remain the same throughout any person’s lifetime. Ridges on the person’s fingerprints only change as a result of surgery, disease, or an accident. In our project we are using a scanner. It will scan the finger print of patient. Then this image is given to personal computer using USB port where patient’s database is maintained. In this database contains the information regarding the patient like, the patients previous problem, medicine, checking data, current patient condition, the patient's medicine. If any emergency occurs, PC passes the information to the microcontroller via the parallel port which alarms the buzzer and displays in LCD display. Here front end of project is in visual basic,our microcontroller programming is done in embedded C. Block Diagram: Biometric Door Access Control and Attendance Maintenance System: With the advent in technology, the existing systems are developed to have in built intelligence. This is of greater importance in places where human identity is required. The manual authentication and human intervention of the present systems has been replaced by digital means. Of all the digital systems, the Embedded Technology predominates as it overcomes the drawbacks of all the existing mechanical and electronic systems. Our project “Involuntary Biometric Door Access Control and Attendance Maintenance System” will manage the security system of any office, industry and any secured place. Here we are using scanner for taking finger print and the scanner is connected with the PC. Fingerprint is checked by the PC to find there is any match, if it matches with already saved fingerprints.PC will send some signal to serial port that's received by microcontroller which will drive the motor to open the door, at the same time maintaining the attendance for future reference. Block Diagram: Biometric Sensors based Digital Voting System: With the advent in technology, the existing systems are developed to have in built intelligence. This is of greater importance in places where human identity is required. The manual authentication and human intervention of the present systems has been replaced by digital means. Of all the digital systems, the Embedded Technology predominates as it overcomes the drawbacks of all the existing mechanical and electronic systems. Our project “ Bio Metric Recognition System Based Digital Voting System ” is very useful to recognize the authenticated person.In personal computer citizen finger print,name and other data’s are maintained.In our project finger print scanner is connected to PC via USB port. Person finger print is captured and given to PC where new finger print is compared with authenticated finger prints, if it matches it will give some binary value to parallel port that is given to microcontroller.Controller accepts the data and displays the authentication and will also be ready to accept the voting. If any unauthenticated person comes for voting, PC will give some other binary value to the controller, which displays unauthentication of the person along with the alarm. Block Diagram: |
