CONTROLLER FOR OPTIMISING VOLTAGE PROFILE OF DISTRIBUTION NETWORKS WITH DG

         This project is design based on the thesis "Controller for Optimising Voltage Profile of Distribution Networks with Distributed Generation". The objective of this research is to design and implement a method to optimize the voltage profile of a given distribution mesh network with DG. The PSO method will control existing DG units, OLTC tap settings, and reactive power support devices to achieve optimal voltage profile in a distribution network. A controller is developed that uses heuristic methods to perform the allocation of these resources for optimal voltage profile.

•    IEEE 14 and 30 Bus Mesh Network with Newton Raphson Method 
•    IEEE 33 and 69 Bus Radial Network with Forward/Back Sweep Method
