BER PERFORMANCE FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS
In this project, SISO, SIMO, MISO and Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) in the Wireless medium for the calculation of the Bit Error Rate (BER). MIMO improve the throughput in the wireless medium. It achieves a higher spectral efficiency. Spatial multiplexing increases the capacity and link reliability of the MIMO systems. The BER performance of BPSK, QPSK, and QAM in MIMO systems in Rayleigh multipath channel is analyzed. A comparison of these modulations is also done in correlated and uncorrelated Rayleigh fading channel. MatLab simulation is performed in 3 cases as given below,
1. BER vs SNR curve for different modulation schemes (BPSK, QPSK, QAM – 16 and QAM – 64) in uncorrelated Rayleigh channel. (SISO, SIMO, MISO and MIMO channel (up to 6 antennas).
2. BER vs SNR curve for different modulation schemes (BPSK, QPSK, QAM – 16 and QAM – 64) in correlated Rayleigh channel. (SISO, SIMO, MISO and MIMO channel (up to 6 antennas).
3. BER vs SNR curve for different modulation schemes (BPSK, QPSK, QAM – 16 and QAM– 64) in SISO, SIMO, MISO and MIMO channel (up to 6 antennas).
