TIME VARYING LOAD MODEL-FINDING OPTIMAL CAPACITOR IN RECONFIGURATION NETWORK-BIOGEOGRAPHY ALGORITHM

DESIGN DETAILS

This Matlab design based on Biogeography Optimization Algorithm for solving network reconfiguration and Capacitor allocation by using Backward-Forward Sweep load flow analysis to minimise power loss and voltage deviation. The design tested in IEEE 33 and 69 Bus System using Matlab 2020a version to verify the performance by applying 6 cases as listed below.

Case:1--Base Case.

Case:2--Only Network Reconfiguration.

Case:3--Only Capacitor Placement.

Case:4-- Capacitor Placement after Network Reconfiguration.

Case:5--Network Reconfiguration after Capacitor Placement.

Case:6--Network Reconfiguration and Capacitor Placement Simultaneously.
