OPTIMAL PLACEMENT OF DG USING BAT ALGORITHM COMPARED WITH GENETIC ALGORITHM

The optimal placement of DG in RDS is a technique to find best configuration, which provides reduced power loss with maintaining all operating constraints, like voltage profile of all nodes, current capacity of the feeder, and radial structure of the network. This Matlab design is based on Optimal Placement of DG using BAT algorithm compared with Genetic Algorithm and Forward Backward Sweep load flow analysis for reduction of losses, improvement in voltage profile. The main contribution of the design is,

1.DG Penetration.

2.Base Case

3.Optimal Placement and Sizing of Multiple DG using Bat Algorithm.

4.Optimal Placement and Sizing of Multiple DG using Genetic Algorithm.

5.Comparison of Bat and Genetic Algorithm.
