POWER LOSS REDUCTION IN RADIAL BUS SYSTEM UNDER TIME VARYING AND DIFFERENT LOAD CONDITION

This Matlab design based on two optimization algorithm i.e, IBPSO and TLBO algorithm for solving network reconfiguration and capacitor allocation by using Backward-Forward Sweep load flow analysis to minimise power loss and voltage deviation. The design tested in IEEE 16 Bus System using Matlab 2020a version to verify the performance by applying 6 cases in different load conditions and time varying load models as listed below.

Case:1--Base Case.

Case:2--Only Network Reconfiguration.

Case:3--Only Capacitor Placement.

Case:4-- Capacitor Placement after Network Reconfiguration.

Case:5--Network Reconfiguration after Capacitor Placement.

Case:6--Network Reconfiguration and Capacitor Placement Simultaneously.

Load Conditions,

•Light Load Type Value=0.5

•Normal Load Type Value=1

•Heavy Load Type Value=1.6
