CULTURAL AND CUCKOO OPTIMIZATION ALGORITHM-NETWORK RECONFIGURATION AND CAPACITOR ALLOCATION
DESIGN DETAILS
This Matlab design based on comparison of two optimization algorithm i.e, Cultural Algorithm and Cuckoo Algorithm that used for solving network reconfiguration and Capacitor allocation by using Backward-Forward Sweep load flow analysis to minimise power loss and voltage deviation. The design tested in IEEE 33 and 69 Bus System using Matlab 2020a version to verify the performance by applying three different load conditions with 6 cases as listed below.
Case:1--Base Case.
Case:2--Only Network Reconfiguration.
Case:3--Only Capacitor Placement.
Case:4-- Capacitor Placement after Network Reconfiguration.
Case:5--Network Reconfiguration after Capacitor Placement.
Case:6--Network Reconfiguration and Capacitor Placement Simultaneously.
Load Conditions,
•Normal Load Type Value=0.5
•Medium Load Type Value=1
•Heavy Load Type Value=1.6
