IMAGE FUSION USING WAVELET AND CURVELET TRANSFORMS

This project based on Image fusion based on the Fourier and wavelet transform methods retain rich multispectral details but less spatial details from source images. Wavelets perform well only at linear features but not at nonlinear discontinuities because they do not use the geometric properties of structures. Curvelet transforms overcome such difficulties in feature representation. Matlab program is developed as given below,

1) Using MS and Pan Image

2) Injection method ( inject Pan image into MS image )for better high resolution and informative image

3) Previous algorithm(Wavelet) and proposed algorithm(Curvelet)

4) Comparison of different parameters like SNR, Image quality index, RMSE, PSNR, Spectral Quality Evaluation.
