IDENTIFICATION OF INDUCTION MACHINE PARAMETERS USING PARTICLE SWARM OPTIMIZATION AND GENETIC ALGORITHM

This project deals with the identification of induction machine parameters using Genetic Algorithms (GA) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) method.Optimization is carried without the evaluation of the gradient. The optimization is carried using current and speed experimental curves of a direct start-up. Convergence speed, algorithms tuning, and local-minima problems are discussed. Results during the Matlab simulation process are shown in the below video for both the methods. The parameters i.e Iteration, Population can be varied to get different results.
