OPTIMAL LOCATION AND SIZING OF DG USING FUZZY LOGIC

This project is design based on the paper "Optimal Location and Sizing of DG using Fuzzy logic". Proper locations of DG units in power systems are very important in order to obtain maximum potential advantages. In this paper we have considered the Fuzzy logic method for the optimal location and sizing of DG considering IEEE 14,30 and 57 bus system data. The Fuzzy logic method is designed for two cases considering DG and without DG for all three IEEE Bus System as given below ,

  • Create Fuzzy structure

  • Select input and output membership function

  • Apply rule matrix to fuzzy structure

  • Add rule matrix to fuzzy structure

  • Select IEEE Bus System(14 or 30 or 57) and select number of DG and DG Size

  • Apply Load Flow

  • Find DGSI value and maximum value

  • Display DG size and location values
