OPTIMAL CAPACITOR PLACEMENT USING GENETIC ALGORITHM

DESIGN DETAILS

This Matlab design based on Genetic Algorithm for solving network reconfiguration and capacitor allocation by using Backward-Forward Sweep load flow analysis to minimize power loss and voltage deviation. The design tested in IEEE 33 and 69 Bus System using Matlab 2020a version to verify the performance.

1.Base case,

2.Only Capacitor Allocation.
