PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF ORTHOGONAL FREQUENCY AND CODE DIVISION MULTIPLEXING (OFCDM) USING MATLAB

The multiple access technique is suggested for the 4G communication system. The various types of multiple access techniques are available in the communication system. OFCDM is the combination of OFDM with two-dimensional scattering code methods. In the transmitter section, the input stream is converted by serial to the parallel converter in the form of multiple streams and pass through the code multiple channels. Each data can be encoded and modulated by code channels. The resultant data can be spread by two-dimensional spreading code techniques. This is given to the code multiplexer, this code multiplexer is able to design the system flexibility and maintain the orthogonality between the subcarriers the code channel is given to the code multiplexer, the output of the code multiplexer is given to the scrambler this produces up the conversion of the subcarriers to achieve high speed. The coded symbol is analyzed by IFFT then the cyclic prefix is added to reduce interference in the transmitting sequence. At that time the symbol is given to the broadband channel. In the receiver section, the received signal passed via a coordinated filter. The cyclic prefix is removed in the received section, the resultant signal is descrambler and down converter by FFT transform. The output of the descrambler is given to the two-dimensional despreader and decoded as well as demodulated by the code channel and recover the original signal. The OFCDM is basically like the OFDM because with the addition of two-dimensional spreading. Orthogonal frequency and code division multiplexing (OFCDM) based on the MATLAB simulation results constructed on the bit error rate which is suitable for execution for the 4G communication system.
